Lunch Program Coordinator
The Junior High/High School currently has an opening for a part time Lunch Program Coordinator. Skill sets include volunteer coordination and scheduling; effective communication with youth and adults; and good organization skills. Previous experience working with a food service program is extremely helpful but is not required. It is expected that this candidate possess a positive mental attitude and be ready and willing to handle fast paced situations as needed.
Duties will include volunteer coordination and training; snack inventory and ordering; cash reconciliation; lunchtime set up and clean up; planning and implementation of fundraising treat days and staff luncheons. Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, on school days. They must be willing to pray over lunch program, youth and staff.

Extended Care Department
The Elementary School currently has openings in the Extended Care Department. Extended Care Aide skill sets include conflict resolution and effective communication with children and adults. Previous experience working with children is extremely helpful but is not required. It is expected that Extended Care Aides posses a positive mental attitude and be ready and willing to encourage, pray for, and redirect children as needed.
Duties will include playground supervision or “yard duty,” lunchroom supervision and clean up, planning and implementation of organized games and craft activities. Aides will also be expected to assist the grade level aides with curriculum correction as well as project preparation. Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. They must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, and wash and fold lunch tables. They must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather.

Teaching Positions
Valley Christian Center of Dublin, CA, an Assembly of God affiliated church and school (preschool through high school) is seeking teachers for our combined Junior and High Schools. We currently have multiple, full-time openings in English, History, American Sign Language and a part-time (four periods) opening in the Visual Arts Department. Individuals who can teach all levels of expertise from the general, beginning level through Advance Placement are being sought. Specifically the Art Department is seeking knowledge at these levels and an understanding of Fine Art and Digital Foundation Courses, history and theory.
Successful candidates will have educational training in their specific field, and we will work to coordinate and combine sections and subjects if appropriate. It is expected that basic teaching skills in classroom management, including supervising, teaching, guiding, motivating and encouraging students in academics is mastered. Our teachers must also be ready to anticipate and perceive the proper time to lead their students to Christ. Valley Christian Elementary and Junior/High Schools are ACSI and WASC accredited, and ideal candidates will be certified and credentialed. However, we also work with individuals who are pursuing these professional designations. Candidates must also articulate a Christian worldview in one's life, teaching, and academic discipline, combined with a strong commitment to influencing a growing Christian community while impacting the local secular community.
