Sophomores Interact with the Muslim World Through Art
The sophomore Modern World History students have just finished studying the Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal Empires. Students then traced themes from the 16th century to current events in the Muslim World today. Each student chose a current event and created a corresponding art piece in Islamic style.
Do you want to see how history collides with the present? You can find the sophomore’s posters displayed throughout the hallways of the High School building and the SRC. Please come see their excellent works of fan (Arabic term for art.) The exhibit will be displayed from October 31-November 11.
