At Valley Christian Elementary School, we are committed to the academic, social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each individual child.
Beginning with our founding in 1970, we have developed a comprehensive educational experience that fosters academic excellence, spiritual development, athletic distinction, creative expression and servant leadership.
Valley Christian Elementary has consistently scored in the nation’s top 10 percent in reading and math assessments. In 2004, we were awarded the No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School designation, largely a recognition of our superb teaching staff.
All of our classroom teachers regularly attend continuing educational courses in their areas of expertise. They are equipped with the most current and relevant educational information for our students.
We embrace the role technology plays in our ever changing world. Our elementary computer lab features new Mac Minis equipped with Key Note, Pages and Numbers. The lab is fully networked to allow Internet research specific to curriculum needs (our school filters and direct observation policy ensure safe Internet browsing).
Whether in the classroom or competing in academic meets, math olympics, art festivals and choral competitions, our students are encouraged to have fun and enjoy learning. Our weekly chapels are part of the foundation of their development as mature Christians. We instill integrity, along with personal and social responsibility, and we encourage our students to become involved with service projects throughout the year.
