Next up for #MeetUsMonday is one of our fabulous Kindergarten teachers, Tara Brown! ⭐️
🔴Originally from Indiana, Tara attended Purdue University and later went on to receive a Masters degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
⚫️Being a proud mama of two boys, Tara can be found in the stands of their sporting events, but she is also quite active herself.
🔴She loves working out and healthy living and even teaches fitness classes here in the Bay! (Did you know she also completed the swim from Alcatraz?)
⚫️Tara says, “I love Valley because I can do what I love in a Christian environment. I love the administration, staff, parents, and our students. These students motivate me to strive for excellence and be the best version of me”.

Introducing… #MeetUsMonday ✨
First, we want you to meet our new Athletic Director, Josh!
🔴Josh is originally from Dallas, Texas and was first introduced to VCS in 2017 when he came on board for the football and eventually basketball programs.
⚫️He served in the Navy as an Antiterrorism Officer and Physical Security Specialist, played professional football for All Navy/All Armed Forces, and operated a non-profit foundation for over 15 years.
🔴He is a husband, father, and part-time DJ who also creates his own music.
⚫️Josh says “Having to leave (Valley) for my Navy obligation was tough, but God stepped in and said that I was meant to come back home. Now, I’m back, and it’s a pure blessing and privilege”.

It sounded like a stampede of Elementary students dressed like their favorite animal characters! Yes, that’s right. Our annual Animal Character Parade happened once again, and we loved seeing our families and Preschool students cheer them on. It was pure panda-monium!

Our middle school had a week of Middle Madness. And what is that? It was filled with dress up days, Olympic style competitions, school spirit, and a block party to wrap it all up! We might just have to make this an annual thing!
